My flabby abs and I had been looking for a cool barre fusion workout and this DVD turned out to be right up my alley.
This DVD is so much more than regular old barrework. Incorporating yoga, Pilates, and a sprinkling of gym exercises, the perky Sadie will get your butt in gear.
The studio is brightly lit and the music is that regular generic clubby workout music but whateves it’ll keep you motivated.
I also liked that there were quite a few optional modifications in case I’m feeling sore or more importantly lazy after partying too late the night before.
You start off with yoga and then move little sections for various body parts: legs, arms, abs, and glutes.
The cool thing is that I actually enjoy this DVD and don’t find myself zoning daydreaming of hot fudge sundaes.
Workout time: 61 minutes. Items Needed: Dumbells and soft inflatable ball. A barre or high-back chair.
