Andrea Rogers does not mess around in this one!
Even though the weights required are light, it’s fast-paced and seriously challenging.
I love how she takes regular exercises and adds ballet-inspired twists. I revisited my dancing days with lots of tendus, plies, and arabasques.
But it’s not 100% dance-o-rama. This is definitely a cardio workout. The music is a wee bit spastic; I felt like I was on speed at a bad 80s club.
But if you can turn down the tunes, it’s an awesome intense workout. My legs felt like burning Jell-O (would that be cinnamon Jell-o?) when I was finished.
Even if you don’t have dance training, this workout is pretty easy to follow. The bright studio features two background ladies performing the moves as well so it’s like watching a Beyonce video. Sort of.
Workout time: 55 minutes. Items Needed: 2 to 5 lb. dumbbells.
